Twelve of us had a leisurely three hour meal at the Cape Cod Room last night. The restaurant is newly opened after about three months of rennovations. I looked hard but couldn't really tell that they'd changed anything except a few lights. Maybe that's what they intended.
The food was superb. The restaurant has always done a fabulous job with their fish and last night was non exception. David Gray did a great job picking out wines for the dinner and I enjoyed them as well.
The only real problem is the three hour thing, which stems from the large group. I'm really looking forward to going back with a smaller crowd -- or maybe no crowd at all -- when the soft shell crabs come in season in May.
